I preorder this game and got on release date. What can i say, its an awesome game. I really like the story and the characters. The story itself has got my hooked and i really cant wait for the ff13versus come out. The battle system rocks and its a not a hard learning curve as some reviews have said. The only thing missing is gaining gil after every battle, and not being a be able to choose your party leader for the major portion of the game. I dont mind it being linear but being able to change ... Read More

First and foremost, to annul any argument of my self-proclaimed veteran status; I've played and beaten FF's 6 through 9, played 10 (saw the ending ahead of time and it just ruined it for me), I still play 11 to this day and have been since the North American launch 7 years ago, completely ignored 12 (for whatever reason it never enticed me to pick it up), went back and played/beaten some of the games prior to 6, and I've just completed 13. I rarely review anything, but, as a hard core FF fan, I was very excited for this game. In a nutshell, it was terrible. I actually got bored and stopped playing for awhile, then thought it might get better by the end, but it was awful.

This is a great game with great graphics. I just bought this game and have been playing it for at least three hours straight. At first, too me at least, it felt very simple, like to the point where you would walk up to something and repeatedly press x over and over and get through with no problem. But eventually it got more tactical and you gained more strategies. This game is very addictive and the graphics make a lot of the game feel like its an actual movie that you are watching. the graphics are some ... Read More

Like many fans of the Final Fantasy series, my feelings for the 13th entry wavered somewhere between cautious optimism and flat-out dread during the months before its release. Although I have enjoyed every game in the series, I am definitely more a fan of the "old school" 2D games that preceded FFVII, and so I was a little worried after hearing impressions of the latest game indicating that it was essentially one long interactive cut-scene.
Although the final product bears little resemblance ... Read More
