This bag is just great, it is big, the good size for 2 adults - 2 children - we ended up carrying a lot of extra stuff to the beach. Perfect for the beach or the pool trip. The best feature is that the sides are see through and it is very easy to locate all the items. The side compartments are very useful, there is a place for everything. I have summers off, and every summer I am either at the pool or beach. I have been looking for the "perfect" beach bag for 2 years, but retail stores have very feminine bags that are not sturdy enough to be "family friendly". I love this bag! It fits everything needed for a day at the beach. In the main part of the bag I can fit 3 large beach towels, a queen size sheet and a small lunch size soft cooler with 3 bottles of water. The exterior pockets have plenty of room for magazines/books, lotion, snacks and cell phone. Love the hook for keys. The bag stands upright and is difficult to knock over. The bag can be a bit heavy when fully loaded.

This bag is extremely sturdy and stiff enough to stand open but still 'crushable' for storage. Seems like it will last forever. I got it b/c I go out on a boat frequently for work and need a place for towels, camera, raincoat and other misc stuff.
