i love this boat. i keep it folded up in the back of the van and use it at a moments notice. i have 2 motors for it. a 2 cycle 3.5 hp tohatsu and a minkota 30 lb thrust trolling motor. the gas motor is great for cruising and site seeing. goes about 4 to 5 mph. the trolling motor's top speed is slower than the 2 cycle motors slowest idle speed. the trolling motor is completely quiet and great for fishing, but you wont go fast. my series 29 walmart marine battery has 205 amp hours of juice, ... Mariner gets great reviews everywhere I look. Bought mine at Cabela's because they had one in stock, and honored their $249 online price (July 2009). Rigid floor makes it very stable. Rows well. Tough material - I have to drag it over rocks to get to the water. Fits me and 4 kids comfortably with the seats removed (6-10 yrs old). Excellent value for the money. I also bought the motor mount kit, and put a minn kota 55lbs trolling motor on this boat and it works great. You definitely want 2 people to move the boat around as it is heavy, but after being out a couple times it seems to be holding up well. My dogs claws and the rocks I have dragged it over have not done any damage to it. Considering the cost, it's hard to beat this boat. Only real issue is that the oar locks could be a little more heavy duty, but if you don't abuse them ... Read More

This review is for the Mariner 4-person Inflatible Boat. I was VERY disappointed in this product as it came WITHOUT the advertised attachments like the 2 oars and pump. If I had to purchase the inflatible all over again, I most definitely would NOT buy this product or anything from Mariner, false advertising at its best.
