Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A great tittle, even if you did not see the film
I really enjoyed this title, most did not and complained of its length. I on the other hand have not seen the film and only saw the earlier stuff from the first two movies. I found that the extra mythology that was in the game was pretty cool (the Harvester and the Hunter Killers). The game had great uses of Bloom and HDR; plus the game made great use of shaders to give the game very almost surreal appearance, especially the wasp. I was not expecting this much polish on a movie based game. Now is this game as beautiful as Uncharted 2? No way, is this game as bad as most movie game titles? No, this game has very good run and gun gameplay and co-op is a blast. I very much recommend this game.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - HORRIBLE
DO NOT GET THIS!!! THIS GAME IS SHORT, REPETITIVE AND ALL AROUND CRAP. THE AI IS USELESS IN THIS GAME AND THE CREATORS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF PUTTING IT OUT. THE ONLY REASON IT IS RATED IS BECAUSE ZERO IS NOT AN OPTION.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Once again I am let down.
Title not fit the rating? I don't know for sure but I had high hopes for this game but with always a sense of unease. No one as far as I know can make a decent Terminator game. This one was close and I was thoroughly enjoying this game....until I got to the middle of the game. Then I started to notice how repetitive this game is. Same machines over and over. Same methods of killing them. Shoot, flank, shoot, repeat as neccesary. Graphics were nice, not insanely great. The game isn't all that bad, if you like machine warfare, it's worth renting atleast, or buying for cheap. Definately not a $60 game. More like $20. If I didn't love the Terminator genre as much as I do, I would have given it 2 stars.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Awesome Franchise, poorly made game!
I decided to buy this game because I am a huge fan of the Terminator Franchise and wanted to support the game. The game was a huge disappointment. For starters, this game froze up or crashed regularly, which made the game nearly unplayable. Once, there were two cut scenes playing on top of each other, so there were subtitles, as well as voices, on top of another cut scene's subtitles and voices. The game wasn't altogether unenjoyable, but there were only 3 or 4 different enemies throughout the entire game! And it only took a matter of a few hours to beat the whole thing. To top it off, there were multiple misspellings and missing words in both the game manual and cut scene subtitles, which simply showed the developers to be quite careless and unprofessional and this was reflected in the game. The best thing you will get out of this game is a great opening cut scene, and some easy gold trophies (though many would even call this a detriment as well).

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - No Future But The One We Make
I just finished beating this game on the hard difficulty (first time playing) in about 4 hrs. I actually enjoyed the game, but I've been a 'Terminator' fan since I was 2 so...
The graphics were really good (not the best, but up there). And The game play was solid (on the whole). The creators of this game had the right idea, game play, and graphics. But they failed to surpass the curse of the movie tie-in games. Even though I enjoyed the game, it was also rather frustrating. I had several glitches happen to me, twice where the frame rate dropped, and had the game freeze on me several times (not sure if this is a development fault, or the fact that I rented it). I also noticed that the hardest setting wasn't very hard, if you can position John Connor quick enough then you can beat almost any engagement with little worry. I also felt that some of the guns were a little underpowered, but this could be more personal opinion rather than development flaw. The game itself was also very short, which was a little disappointing because there is so much material that they could've expanded upon that could've made this game possibly epic.
This game also stumbles in the department of online play, especially in the fact that there is no online play. Resistance v. Skynet would've been awesome to play. Also if they added a customization aspect also (customize your own soldier), it would've been sweet. I also had personal issues with the control scheme but it wasn't anything to detract from the game itself (R2 to fire, rather than R1).
Overall, I enjoyed this game and would recommend it to others that wish to battle against robots. But I can't shake the feeling that this game was rushed to match the scheduling of the movie. I look forward to a continuation into the post-Judgment Day world, but hopefully who ever develops it will take their time and make it awesome.
